Does Windows have a method of analyzing boot times?
Like showing the times needed to initialize various services. Thanks. |

There are various screen shots here. https://www.tweakhound.com/xp/bootvis/ Other than that, there's xbootmgr/xperf or WPA, none of which is quite as much fun as Bootvis. There was a claim that Microsoft stopped supporting it at some point, so it might no longer work, but when I tried it on WinXP Sp3, it still worked. I had my own screenshot of that, but I made the mistake of storing it on Imageshack, and all the images on there were thrown away. Paul |
