messenger password

I had accidentally checked off "sign me in automatically"
as I was signing in to messenger. Now...I don't need to
sign in my password.....but ...that's not what i wanted.
I've been through my options through messenger...been
through my user accounts options and was nothing there
that needed changing....went through my .net options and
went through the messenger fix in my add/remove
programs... as well....and still can't change it from
automatically using my password.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Greetings Ben,

To stop it from automatically logging in, click the Start Button, then click the Control
Panel. Then, click User Accounts in the Control Panel. Select your account name, and then on
the left side of the screen, under Related Tasks, click 'Manage my Network Passwords'. In
the window that opens, click the Passport.Net\* (Passport) entry and click 'Remove'.
