can't uninstall driver files
I had gotten this 4 port video card
(http://wiki.robotz.com/index.php/Pic..._CCTV_DVR_Card) and installed its drivers, but have since decided not to use the card. I an trying to uninstall the drivers but I can.t I wnet into device manager, clicked on proprties for the audio device for it, clciked on driver then uninstall and XP reboots! It did this a couple times. I tried to del the files by hand from c:\windows\system32\drivers the files are cg300au.sys cg300vc.sys but I get access denied. I tried a safe mode with command prompt boot and still could not delete them. Anyone know how I can remove these files? |

can't uninstall driver files
The normal way to uninstall a device would be to uninstall the drivers and
then shut down and remove the device. In your case I would uninstall the video drivers shut down...remove the device. restart and uninstall the audio drivers....shut down and restart again. peter -- If you find a posting or message from me offensive, inappropriate or disruptive, please ignore it.
