Deleting the unread emails
Greetings Ben,
To turn off the unread e-mails on the welcome screen, download the TweakUI powertoy: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/p.../powertoys.asp (see on the right). After you have TweakUI installed, click Start, All Programs, Powertoys for Windows XP, and choose TweakUI for Windows XP. In the TweakUI window, on the left, click the '+' next to Logon, and choose Unread Mail. Uncheck 'Show unread mail on Welcome screen' and click OK. ____________________________________________ Jonathan Kay Windows MVP, Messenger Associate Expert http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/ Messenger Resources - http://messenger.jonathankay.com "Ben" wrote in message ... recently i have noticed that when my computer goes back to the log in page with m two accoutns on it (im using windows XP) it now says how many unread emails i have... how do i get rid of this little message? as the another user is really annoyed about it and that it says its connected to my email accoun t by the amoun t of unread messages does not correlate to mine... |
