The site was abandoned, the domain bought by "bad guys" in
2015, then blacklisted for hosting malware.

Domain name: identit.ca
Domain status: registered
CREATION DATE: 2015/02/19
Expiry date: 2017/02/19
Updated date: 2016/02/17

The previous owner did not bother to renew his license. The
site had been dead for almost 4 years ...

No - it has NOT been dead. Use your WayBackMachine and your brain!

I just did. The site in 2016 is identical to the site in 2011,
(IOW when it WAS abandoned by the original owner) except that it
belongs to someone who gave an address in NJ, USA since 2015, and it
now has a link to malware. (the original owner was Canadian)
How did you and your son pull that off, used a stolen credit
card ?
It's pretty obvious what you did, you should have used your
brai .. no, forget it.

CUT PERSONAL DATA OF THE ORIGINAL OWNER

Posting that kind of stuff is a CRIME. Unless, of course you
have a letter from the guy specifically allowing you to.
I suppose you mean you and your son bought the domain and
uploaded the malware ?

Suppose what whatever you like.

OK, Kudos, you managed to shut it down. The NEW site, I mean.

Thank you. :-) It took a long time!

You DO realize what you did was illegal ?

No.

Maybe you could post your son's photo and info so I can report
it to the police. I mean, posting pictures and info of the original
owner (the one that abandoned the site) is OK, so why not ?

[OT] because your reply has NOTHING to do with the subject
line.

PS Why did you remove alt.uk.law from the follow-ups ??? It's
the only group your confession is ON topic.

I'll make it easy for them, and it's not illegal, as I'm
reporting a crime:

David Brooks
86 Granary Lane
Budleigh Salterton
Devon

Would that be the Devon police, or does cyberstalking have a
special division in London ? Serious Crime maybe ?
Do let us know how it goes. You might get lucky, and get a
corrupt cop. You'll be able to bribe him. Look at the bright side.

It has *ALWAYS* had a link to malware!

*That is my whole point*!!!! Links have been posted on the Microsoft
Answers forum without any monitoring by Microsoft itself.

“Some users still believe you actually have to click on a link or run a
file to actually start the infection process, and what’s worse is in
most cases the actual owner of the website is totally unaware they have
a problem.”

Stupid accusation - it IS now 'forgotten'.

Absolute crap! Anyone is at liberty to browse LinkedIn and refer folk to

You need Action Fraud. I'll be delighted if you contact them.

In actual fact, I spoke to them just yesterday in connection with my old
pal, Clive - he got caught up in that expensive scam if you recall.

More crooks than honest policemen.
But STALKING has nothing to do with fraud, as you are well

Kind of, it has the nick-name "inaction fraud".

It's not really for reporting an individual crime where you expect
action to be taken directly; rather they triage stuff and if they spot a
large pattern then they will investigate.

WHY are you *lying* about this? *WHY*?

Anyone can see that the site has NOT been down.

The site was not down, but it was not being maintained, there is a
subtle difference that goes over your head.

And the other part he keeps ignoring is that the site has not even been
*owned* by the stalkee for the last two years.

I'm willing to learn; teach me! ........ Please?

Perhaps you mean it was a bit like THIS site? http://aumha.org/

I did ask about that on the Microsoft Answers forum

Be sure to look at "All Replies" ...... and note how poorly the thread
is managed!

By "down" I meant completely abandoned, unchanged, literal
Internet debris ... Archive.org shows not a single line of code
changed in the six years before 2015.
Only a fool would visit such an old site.
BTW, the site has new owners since 2015. Expect change. By the
way BD is promoting it, it will probably host ransomware. He gets a
cut from every hospital/school that gets infected.
Alcohol is highly taxed in the UK. He needs the money.
