Default website passwords

please have pity on a cat who is teaching itself,
when logging into websites that request i do so ,they
never like my password. what am i doing wrong? if i use
my e-mail address, i use the password that goes with it
as user.what am i missing here?
all answers graciously appreciated.

Meercat;
The password on the website is not the same as your Email password
unless you set it that way (very bad idea).
The password for various websites is what you give them when you
register with the site.
Normally you must register at those sites before you can access them
with a password.

why are the passwords i enter not accepted? is a certain
# of letters required? there must be a standard that i'm
not aware of.this happens at each site i have tried.
