Upgrade from Win 98 to XP home ed, Norton not working
My norton anti virus won't run. even though i'm the only
user & have admin privileges, XP won't allow me to uninstall & reinstall Norton. norton gives me an error 1606 - could not access network location please help

Upgrade from Win 98 to XP home ed, Norton not working
You should have uninstalled Norton before trying to upgrade to XP. Go into
Add/Remove software and uninstall XP and go back to 98; uninstall Norton, install XP; forget about re-installing Norton. "frustrated" wrote in message ...
