System Restore
Hello,
I am having a problem with a program called "Configsafe". It is a program that does the exact same thing as Windows system restore. I need to uninstall Configsafe. I wanted to first make sure that the program has absolutely nothing to to do with and will in no way effect the Windows system restore if I uninstall it. Thanks, Kevin

System Restore
Hi Kevin,
After uninstalling Configsafe, test System Restore. Create a new restore point named TEST. Create a new shortcut on the desktop and point it to My Computer or any other file of your choice and name it TEST. Now restore to the Test restore point. The system will now reboot, and you will receive a message if the restore was successful, and the Test shortcut on the desktop will be gone. Post back with the results. I do not want to risk trying this. If uninstalling Configsafe damagesSystem
Restore, how can I restore it back if System Restore does not work? The only solution to my problem is purchasing the an upgrade of Configsafe which I do not want to do.
