Default Service pack 2

I have just bought a new computer which has Windows XP pro
installed.I will use this for video editing and the system
I will use is Matrox RTX 100.
On reading the RTX 100 release notes it stresses that if
using the system under windows 2000 you must have Service
Pack 2 fitted.
My XP pro (which I assume is Windows 2000 ?) is Version
2002 & has Service pack 1 fitted.
Do I need to upgrade the system?
I downloaded service pack 3 for Windows 2000 but the
message I receive when trying to execute this file is that
it is not compatible with my system!!
Please enlighten me.

You are running windows XP not 2000!

XP is a newer version Than 2000, so it should work fine!
