Uninstall hotfixes and security updates to re-install XP SP2?

Default Uninstall hotfixes and security updates to re-install XP SP2?
List,

After battling multiple problems with XP SP2 I decided to re-install
SP2 from scratch. I was previously current (as of 10/32/05) with all
SP2 and SP3 hotfixes and security updates. Do I need to uninstall all
of them in order to successfully re-install XP SP2 (and then re-install
all the hotfixes and security updates)? I tried just re-installing SP2
but quickly got error message 1068 about the Cryptographic service not
being started.

You need to go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and look for all
updates. My system has the following updates since SP2:

Thanks, I was afraid of that..... I'll uninstall all of them and
reinstall from SP2 onwards.
