Windows Live Mail identities
just got windows 7 and am using Live Mail. Before this I used WinXP and
Outlook Express. I maintained several identities in OE to separate emails and addresses for each identity. I have established different Users in Win 7 to accomplish the same thing. But I use 4 different identities and this makes for quite a bit or extra work. I have now used my primary User Live Mail to enter the 4 different email addresses and this works fine for the messages I receive. They end up in the correct Inbox for that specific address. So no problem on using one User for the 4 email accounts as far as for messages. Is there any way to separate the Contacts in a similar manner? I was hoping that if I highlighted a specific email address and then clicked on Contacts it would only show Contacts entered for that email address. But....I haven't found a way to accomplish that. Right now it seems I would have to load all of the Contact info for all 4 email accounts. Then I could establish a different Category for each identities Contacts and copy the pertinent addresses to each Category folder. But that's a lot of work. Any easier ideas? |

Windows Live Mail identities
That's the only way, unless you want to setup and use separate PC logon
accounts. WLM doesn't use identities so all contacts are in one long list. "Panic" wrote in message ... just got windows 7 and am using Live Mail. Before this I used WinXP and Outlook Express.
