Copying To Second Hard Drive
I have many gigs of music and have the songs backed up on a second
hard drive. Since I haven't backed up for several months, is there any method in XP Pro to ship ONLY the songs not already on tne second drive ?? Thanks for all responses. |

A simple utility named SyncToy might do the job:

Maybe if you but them in a briefcase then when you update it will only
add new songs? Copying To Second Hard Drive
You can do this from a command prompt using the Windows XCOPY command using
the /D switch. For example to copy all of the new files from the current directory and all of its subdirectories on the C: drive to the "D:\Music Backup" directory on the second drive you would use this command from at the command prompt: XCOPY "C:*.*" "D:\Music Backup" /S /D -- John Hensley www.resqware.com "Winston" wrote: I have many gigs of music and have the songs backed up on a second hard drive.
