Oh and that is the point you slow Alias got out of it? No the
point was Agent was one of the last readers on the planet to
support multiple email accounts. If I recall correctly, that was
not until 2005 with Agent v3.

What does that have to do with with setting up a newsgroup response so
that the original posting is indented or marked off with a symbol such
as ""?

What does a 7-year-old obsolete version of Agent have anything to do
with the subject?

What does Agent's email features have to do with the subject?

The answer to all three:

Absolutely Nothing.

Why do you continuously harp on this irrelevant crap?

The word "dickhead" comes to mind.

You don't know Nil? It HAS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH IT NIL! Why tell
somebody to use something else that will give them years of endless
grief Nil! I hate when people tell somebody to use some piece of crap
just so they think they know something. That isn't right at all! That is
just being stupid. Do you like being stupid Nil? Because you are acting
stupid!

Yes I have been there many times. Try OS/2 you will like it. Try
Thunderbird you will like it. Try Linux you will like it. Try the Mac
you will like it! And you know what clueless Nil? I didn't like any of
it and I hold bozos like you responsible for wasting all of my time. And
I want to make sure bozos like you don't do it to anybody else. SO what
is wrong with that?

I can seem to find a way to do that.

Thanks,

I used to use OE6 but with my new computer system
I switched to Outlook10 for mail, and Agent for
newsgroups.

After 12 months or so there's been no problem and
the host of options available for these two makes
me regret I didn't do it sooner.

Listen & learn!

Naw... you are just a spoiled brat that has nothing better to do. You
are not the least bit intelligent and make things up as you go along.
And this has been proven over the many years. That is why we don't trust
anything you say without reliable references. But you can't even do that
correctly.

Learn what? That Agent is one of the most complex and hard to use
programs ever? Why not tell the truth and say how it really is?

Just wondering...

Of what value is a 6 and a half year old article on version 3 when the
current version is 6?

If I were looking for a newsgroup reader, I'd want to know what the
reader is like now, not 6 and a half years ago. :-)

About every year I try Agent. Mostly because people tell me how great it
is. And my reaction is always the same. And I think the last time I
tried it a few months ago and that just might have been my last. I have
fallen for that crap for 17 years now and I am just too tired to keep
trying it again. If they can't get it right in 17 years I am tired of
waiting and moving to something else. And yes, it is still one of the
most complex and hard to use readers out there. But if you like that
sort of thing, then go for it. Who am I to tell you no?

Perhaps you just aren't smart enough to use a program that is mildly
technical. Your history blog there seems to indicate that.

But you go have fun with your entry-level WLM and Outhouse Distress
newsreaders and enjoy yourself, okay? Just keep it to yourself.

What do you mean Ken? Agent is very complex and hard to use. It has been
that way since '95 and continues to this very day. Why not tell the
truth? Why do you know of a more harder and more complex reader? If you
do, I love to hear about it. ;-)

It is a bit complex, but all the features make up
for it.
