Default ! ps/2 mouse in device manager

i have several errors in the device manager. one is ! ps/2 mouse. i use a
microsoft wireless usb mouse. nothing is attached to ps/2 port. i've tried
uninstalling both devices, however, the ! ps/2 mouse always reappears after
restart with the following message:

This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all
its drivers installed. (Code 24)

any experience with this one?

thank you all
