Default Lavalife IM problems since XP installed

You likely need to install the Microsoft Virtual machine
again. XP does not come with it pre-installed any longer
and I know Lavalife uses it for the IM feature. You can
not, however, download this from Microsoft. You should
do a Google Search for Microsoft Virtual Machine or Java
Virtual Machine adn download from one of the links.

-----Original Message-----
I am a Lavalife.com user, and while I was running Win 98

I didn't seem to
have anyproblems with their site's IM function.

Sometime after installing Win XP Home, I have lost the

ability to access
Lavalife's IM function. That window now shows up as a

white box with a
small red X in the corner.

Are you aware of any conflicts with other online chat

systems?
I also use Windows Messenger and Yahoo Messenger and

have no problems with
them.
Lavalife has not been able to help me with this yet, and

I don't know of
another webpage chat site that I could use to check to

see if it is just a
problem with Lavalife.

Help appreciated.

Dave
