Default Movie Maker used for recording audio only

Download wmp9 series encoder from wmp web page.
Select the edit icon fot audio/video,you probably should
download the codecs installation also.
-----Original Message-----
I downloaded the update for Windows Movie Maker and since
then, the software is different and I can't figure out
how to record audio only. I want to separate the audio
track from a digital video tape on my digital 8 video
recorder to then record onto an audio CD. Does anyone
know how to do this?
Thanks in advance!
Ann
