More out of curiosity than anything. Â*When I insert a bootable USB stick in my system such as a Linux Live distro or my Kaspersky Rescue stick I get 2 entries in the F8 boot menu for instance. SMI USB Disk 1100 (15000MB) UEFI: SMI USB Disk 1100, Partition 1 (15000MB) This on an Asus B 450F Strix motorboard with UEFI bios. Rene Hi Rene, Both Linux Live and Windows Install sticks are dual boot Legacy and EUFI. I usually choose EUFI, but they both work -T I had some REAL FUN setting up dual Legacy and EUFI dual boot on my Fedora stick. It took me several years to figure it all out and document it. |
