Default no color after video capture

I'm using Media Maker 2.1 and i figured out how to capture video from my Sony
Digital 8 camcorder. But it comes out black & white, no color. I've tried
various settings and still no luck. Any ideas?
Thanks!
Roger

Sounds like a PAL vs NTSC problem.... from the Toolbar, Tools, Options...
are WMM and the camcorder both set to the correct format? You are capturing
via firewire, correct?

Actually i'm using a USB2.0 connection. Do i have to use Firewire?

I'm pretty sure everything is set to NTSC but i'll double check.
