Default Owner account

This question concerns windows XP Home. I recently changed the name of the Owner account. Now I can log in which the new account name, but also as 'Owner' (using the same password). What's the point of changing the name of the Owner account if I can still
log in as 'Owner'? So, what causes this behaviour, and how can I rectify it?

Default Owner account

It accepts either the username or the accountname field defined
in the accounts on the system. Access the account with
control userpasswords2
and change both to the new name (do not change group memberships
in Home edition using this interface) in the properties of the account.

Default Owner account

Wish I'd read this before...I'm used to XP Pro and I didn't realize there was this limitation in Home. I went and changed my account to a power user in Userpasswords2. Apparently Home doesn't support Power users. What this means is I can ctrl+alt+del twi
ce and type in the username and password, but it's no longer shown on the Welcome screen, or in any userpasswords control applet. Any ideas how to set this account back to administrator?

Thanks.
