Default codec?? and converting

AVI alout of time play as audio on windows media player i have divx5 and
still cant played alout of files like that i need sum assestens on that, i
cant feger what i am missing? thanks e mail me on

Maybe the latest DIVX (which is v6) www.divx.com) and XVID from
www.xvidmovies.org

Default codec?? and converting

I use a lot of .avi files, if that's what you're talking about. I think what
you need is a codec to play the video (I had the same problem) go to
http://www.cccp-project.net/ and download their codecs. they will work in
media player and movie maker.
