Start - documents (classic mode). Where do those two folders come from ?
Hello all,
I've got XP in classic mode, and when I click "Start" and hover over "Documents" I get a menu pane showing two folders, a divider bar and a number of recently used files. My question: How to I add/remove folder entries there (and maybe a program or two too) ? My first addition would be to the actual "recent" folder, so that I can easily get more than just the last few recently used items. After that, who knows. But seeing the "My Pictures" folder there I wonder why it doesn't also contain easy shortcuts to "My Music" and "My Videos" ... Regards, Rudy Wieser |

JJ,
Not all softwares are configurable as you would have imagined. Thats a possibility, yes. But it isn't a conclusion I normally start with. Regards, Rudy Wieser |

John,
I vaguely remember a tweak that varied the number of recents shown. Can't remember if it was a registry setting, or similar, or an add-on. I seem to be remembering something of the same. But in this case its really about being able to change the stuff above the divider bar. Regards, Rudy Wieser |
