Default turning on and off on its own!

I experienced this with my home computer last year.
Shortly after the rebooting problems started the hard
drive had a fatal, unrecoverable error (i.e., it died). I
would suggest that you immediately back up all of your
data just to be on the safe side.

All the best,
Brenda Potts

-----Original Message-----
my pc has been occasionally turning itself off without

me
telling it to. it will reboot around five or six times,
each time it gets to the desk top, starting again. after
the sixth time its starts up normally, but gives the
error report message, saying my system has recovered

from
a serious error.
its happening much more frequently lately, 4 times today
already.... i think it only happens when im playing mp3s
through windows media player, but i'm not totally

certain
if there is a link there.
please help me, its driving me mad!
.
