Error sound when logging off...
This is an intersting one:
When logging off of both of the user accounts on my XP Pro machine, I am getting an error sound ('windows xp ding.wav' found in c:\windows\media if you want to check the sound I mean) which suggests to me that something is not quite right with the log off routine. Does XP have any way of logging the log-off routine so I can check to see if there is anything that needs my attention? My computer has not always done this and it's starting to irritate me a little. My machine isn't malfunctioning in any way and I'm pretty sure that this is just cosmetic, but it's something that I want to check. I hope someone out there can help me... Big Liam |
