Display in XP Professional
I upgraded to XP Professional from ME and now I cannot change my display.
When I right-click on the desktop and click properties nothing happens. Also, when attempt to access the display from the control panel nothing happens. I am unable to change the screen lock timer and such. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanx |

Welcome to XP. You probably have to update your graphics driver. Rt click
on MyComputerselect PropertiesHardwareDevice ManagerDisplay AdaptorExpand and let me know what it says. There will probably be a yellow mark next to it. "allnew002800" wrote in message ... There is no yellow mark
It is: Intel(R) 82810E Graphics Controller (Microsoft Corporation) when I click on it the device status window says 'This device is working properly.' I clicked on the Driver tab and it was provided by Intel Corporation; date 6/8/2001; version 6.13.1.3198 etc. Is there anything else I can do? "Rich Barry" wrote: Welcome to XP.
