Default undo the "always do the selected action"

just a general inquiry, not a problem. using xp home sp2 dell 4600 desktop,
1 yr old.

upon inserting a data disk i created, for example, photos or word
documents, into cd drive, a box opens titled New (D. there are different
options and programs viewed to choose from. there is a check box titled :
"always do the selected action". if that box was checked, & say for example
a photo program was selected in error, & i closed the box, is there a way to
have the selection box open when disk is inserted, offering the choices
again vs the opening of the photo program that was checked? undo the "always
do the selected action"?

just an inquiry. thank you, len kiesling

Default

1. Open XP's "Help and Support Center".
2. In the Search box type: AUTOPLAY , and hit enter.
3. Click on: "Change how your computer handles multimedia content".
