Default usb 2.0 in windows xp

Hi,

Just installed XP Pro on my Toshiba laptop and didn't
realize it doesn't come shipped with USB 2.0 drivers.
Installed SP1 and that didn't help either. Can someone
confirm that SP1a has USB2.0 drivers or point me to a
location where I can download them?

I haven't installed SP1a yet.

Cheers,

Farhad Shamji

SP1 and SP1a are identical except that SP1a is lacking Java - whatever is in
SP1 is in SP1a with that exeception. Please visit Toshiba's site for a USB
chipset update. Make sure that the ports are marked 'enhanced' not
'standard' in the device manager.

Did your Toshiba come with USB 2.0 originally, before you
installed XP Pro?
