STILL Need Help: Start-up Folder Won't Start!

I posted that I still needed help in my original subject thread, but no one
answered.

There was NO Startup folder at that location.

I asked about a week ago what I should do next, if I should create a new
"Start-up" folder, but no one replied.

So I tried creating a new "Start-up" and put the new shortcuts (to other
programs) in it, but this did not work. None of the programs started on the
next boot-up.

I've tried this in different ways, drag this folder and various shortcuts
back and forth between this folder and my Start menu -- and NOTHING WORKS.

Does anyone know HOW I can SOLVE this, please!
