I asked a question about laptop start up in this group. It was either last
night or this morning. The post appeared and someone replied. Now it's gone. ? |

Well, I can't find it. The fact that xnews isn't sorting the posts
correctly when I click on the date column doesn't, help but I can't find it anywhere. And this one will be gone by this time tomorrow. At least from my computer. I see it too here is the one reply you've gotten thus far: The normal exit from standby on a DESKTOP is via the keyboard or mouse. Both have to be set up to do that. I do not have a LAPTOP but you might look into configuring the mouse pad and the keyboard especially if the laptop is 'plugged in'. Also look at power settings for power key settings. Is the power on key set to exit standby posted by "unknown" |

Thanks. I need to know what's causing me not to be able to see posts which
apparently exist. I'm using xnews. Should I try another newsreader? |
