Standby and hibernate problems
Whenever I put my system in either standby or
hibernation, everything seems to work properly until I try to wake my system up. To see if it was just my monitor's reluctance to wake up, I used the keyboard to open the start menu and restart the computer (I just hit space bar to wake up computer, then hit ctrl + esc, u, r). In power management, I have all the options to turn things off after some specified time disabled. I don't think it has anything to do with drivers or my video card (ATI Radeon 9600 Pro), but I'm not 100% sure. Any suggestions? |

Standby and hibernate problems
Hey Brian,
You don't say if it rebooted ok with the shortcut key sequence or not. Assuming it did, try increasing the monitors refresh rate, I've seen posts on other sites that said that this sometimes cures the problem. control panel/display/settings/advanced/monitor Paul "Brian" wrote in message ...
