.NET framework, which version to keep

Default .NET framework, which version to keep

In XP I have two ver of .net framework installed
Ver 1.0.3705
Ver 1.1

Do I need to keep both or I can remove ver 1.0

You really only have 1.1. 1.0.3705 is just still in your add/remove.

Not necessarily - it IS possible and resonable to have side by side installs
of the .NET Framework. This allows for an application that calls
specifically to the 1.0 Framework to run on a PC with both versions.
The original poster should retain both versions.

Since you can have both versions on your PC at the same time and different
applications target different versions you should retain both versions
