Rename in explorer
If the folders have been opened at some point even though
you closed them, sometimes they are still cached. To clear the cachings, right-click My Computer, choose Manage, Computer Management will come up, go to Shared Folders, go to Open Files. Right-click and close any folders you are trying to rename. Hope this helps. Steve D. -----Original Message----- When i try to rename folders in explorer i get the message that the folder is in use by another program. to my knowledge it is not as explorer is the only program open. the only way i have found to get round this is to reboot and then it will allow me to rename. . |
