The Op possibly does not have SP1a installed. We do not know that and therefore
installing SP3 will not do. Granted if SP1a is already installed then it is possible to go directly to SP3. But we do not know for a fact what jb has or does not since he did not post the info. If you have XP/SP1a or XP/SP2, you can download SP3.
