SP2 'wireless' pop-up??
Can you possibly help regarding the pop-up "connecting
to wireless, etc...." which we never got prior to installing SP2? (We also see a little red icon in lower right of 'status bar' that we believe might be related to this "wireless' pop-up. We don't have wireless or use wireless, we use dial up modem. Can you tell us how to get rid of this "wireless" pop-up that we keep getting each time we turn on our notebook? We are new at this (novice seniors) and hope you can explain so we can understand. Thank you very much. |

Additionally, use Control Panel Connections and disable the wireless connection. SP2 includes the newer Zero Wireless connection wizard.
