Default Recovering deleted files?

I emailed myself a copy of an essay, worked on it for a
while, saving it as I went along, and now it's
disappeared. I suspect it was saved in a temporary folder
and got deleted. Does that happen? And is there any way
to get it back?

Hi,
To get it back you can get it from the sent items of ur
email program (provided that you have opted to save all
sent items).

Regards,
M. Rajesh

Hi Sean,

You are posting via CDO, so I can't tell which email client you are using.
However, if you where using OE and worked on the essay via OE and then saved
it, it would be in your drafts folder.

As per retrieving deleting items:

Thanks for the link Kelly, that's just what I needed. I
use Hotmail for email and had worked on the essay in Word
so the attachment was way out of date and it wasn't clear
where Word had decided to save it.

Thanks very much
