Default Network Browsing

I have one XP pro workstation on a Windows2003 network that suddenly can not
browse the network or find any shares using a UNC path. Error message network
not found.

I can still login to the network, get a login script, browse the internet
and ping IP addresses. If I use UNC path with an IP address I still can not
see other shares.

Is there anything I can do to fix the problem?

Thanks,

Larry C.

That's a neat website, but it doesn't work with Firefox. I can still use it
simply by starting IE, but it would be nice if you used some kind of forms
that are more compatible.

Tom,

yes, you're hitting the weak point. I'm really sad about this,
but I simply don't have the time to do it. I would love to.

I hope you do at least see the red first paragraph that warns
about this problem. I also hope that most Windows XP users still
have Internet Explorer at their disposal.
