cannot connect to printer

Default cannot connect to printer

while i am connected to the internet i am unable to
connect to my printer. It says to make sure it is on. As
soon as i disconnect from the internet my printer works
fine and i am able to print

Is this a USB modem AND a USB printer..... if so it would indicate an
inadequate power supply....
