Cannot update, BITS and Windows update corrupted
The title says it all.
Have tried MS Hot Fix but no luck. In services Windows Update is missing and BITS shows @%SystemRoot%. Have run MSE virus scan and Spywareblaster. Also ran Malwarebytes with Chameleon (which is supposed to kill malicious software prior to scan). All 3 above give a clean bill of health! I see various "fixes" on the net but only the Hot Fix from MS. Any known fixes that work? Would appreciate advice on this.
