Okay, but please don't top-post. You'll soon be hated if you continue to do
it.

I agree, you're not posting in a microsoft.public group anymore. Learn how
to post.

Thanks for the advice. Not used to doing it this way but I can see why
it is beneficial in newsgroups; to follow the conversation.

Chris started the thread. Neither top nor bottom posting is possible.
Did you take those stupid pills again today?

Don't read what these other arseholes tell you. We all read from the top down
not the other way around. You are correct and they make the same mistake over
and over again.

It would also be best if you learn how to use your newsreaders filters
as it can cut down on the amount of crud you'll see in this newsgroup.
I'm not going to name names, but you'll soon see who needs to be
filtered out. :-)

Exactly right. Top, bottom, or insert, whichever makes the most sense
for your particular post. People who insist on ONLY bottom posting
are still living in 1989 in the age of DOS, non-graphical user
interfaces, and 300 baud modems.

No, they're not. None of that stuff has anything to do with the issue.

Last I heard, most English-speaking people still read left to right,
top to bottom. That was true in 1989 and is still true today. It
hasn't changed a bit.

The ones that are stuck in the 80's are the ones that frown upon using
HTML in newsgroups. :-)

I haven't thought of myself as being stuck in the 80's until now, but
I definitely frown on the use of HTML in newsgroups. As bad as top
posting is, HTML is even worse.
