Default 8139a family ethernet adapter

I changed my default/defined 8139a from RealTek to
OvisLink 8139a in both D: XP and C: ME on this HP Pavilion
8776C. These adapter definitions are both readily
available with adapter driver change to anyone with the
windows versions. Aside from "Family", {(XP) thinks I'm in
some kind of network when really, this is just a computer
that connects direct through an Ericssen cable modem}, I
don't know what really is changed, but the high speed
streams that I watch with Media 9 Quick time and Real
players are noticeably clearer to me.

I am not trying to promote anything here, maybe it is my
imagination but, if someone confirms that this sort of
change can make a difference, it may then be of use to
other users. If you are in the same boat, you can try it.

Cheers
