"drive hopping phenomena".
I have two drive mappings to the same data location on my
network. IE.. \\%Servername%\apps\data The respective drive letters are H: and K: IF a user is in MS Word or MS Excel and they select "OPEN" then select the "LOOK IN" then select a drive letter that is mapped to the same data location. The first drive letter that was selected initially will always be the default. If I selected K: initially I will not be able to open the H: drive letter. It will keep changing to the K: Our net work Team is calling this one the "drive hopping phenomena". We have tested this on Windows XP pro only. I'm wondering if anyone else has come across this issue. |

The rest of us can't afford to waste a second drive letter on a
duplicate path. ;-) Daniel Bagshaw wrote: I have two drive mappings to the same data location on my network.
