Default My network places not there

My computer belongs to Doman XYZ. I can see XYZ in the "My Network Places"
window. When expand the domain XYZ only my box shows up. None of the other
30 boxes in the domain, including the servers, can be seen in this screen.

Funny thing is if I use Start-Run and type in \\ComputerName\shared folder
I can view the contents of that folder.

All file dialog boxes in all programs show the same result. the domain is
void of any units other than my own

Any suggestions, advise, etc.

Thanks

Doc
