I don't have the virus but i keep rebooting anyway.
I just did a clean install of xp home and now my computer reboots every
couple of minutes. It happens after the activation icon pops up. My other computer is not attached to the internet, so it can't be the virus. I also have turned off the auto restart in control panel and it still does it. can someone help me? |

You seem sure that you're not infected, but the basic symptoms sound
similar. I recommend you read the links below to ensure you are *not* infected with the Blaster worm. Please review the following, clean your machine of any worm and install the patch listed below. 826955 Virus Alert About the W32.Blaster.Worm http://support.microsoft.com/?id=826955 823980 MS03-026: Buffer Overrun in RPC May Allow Code Execution http://support.microsoft.com/?id=823980 Thanks -- Andy This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. ================================================== === "me2" wrote in message ... Is the computer in question hooked up to your home network?
