How do I reinstall select windows xp files that had to be
deleted because of infection?

Type msconfig in start run then click expand

or type sfc /scannow
to check all files and fix those that need it.

You don't want ntask32.exe or win32sockdrv.dll back, as they is part of the
randex virus. You need to complete the manual cleanup steps he

Get out your XP CD and keep it handy. Then: go to Start/All
Programs/Accessories/Command Prompt/ type "sfc /scannow" less quotes, and
press the keyboard Enter key.
