Shut Down
When I had 98SE prior to upgrading to XP, I installed a
standard command so that all I have to do is to click on an short cut icon (I titled "Quit") and it enables me to shut down my computer without going through the usual process (Start/Shutdown/Shutdown) Is there a similar process of doing this with XP? Don |

Shut Down
Hi Don,
You can create desktop shutdown and restart shortcuts with the following; Desktop Shutdown Shortcut; R-click desktopnewshortcut, Type; "Shutdown -s -t 0"(no quotes) For re-boot use "r" instead of "s" in entry. It works for me, LOL, JAX "Don Soriano" wrote in message ... WIZMO handles that nicely.
