Should video conferencing work between MSN Messenger 6.1 and Windows
Messenger 5.0? Also - any way to view a 6.1 webcam in 5.0?

Greetings Trevor,

Yes it will but you have to use the "Start Video Conference" option (under the Actions menu)
in MSN Messenger 6.1, the "Webcam" option in MSN Messenger 6.1 is only compatible with MSN
Messenger.

Didn't work in testing but both testing PCs were behind a LinkSys Firewall
NAT which probably explains it. I'll try further testing.

Tried it again with 2 different public IPs - no dice. Session initiated on
Messenger, appears on MSN, accepted on MSN, confirms on Messenger and shows
Connecting as status but never connects or shows video. After about a
minute Messenger says the voice conversation has ended. Thoughts?
