MSN 6.0 Messenger problems starting

I have my Windows Messenger disabled. I have installed
MSN Messenger 6.0. It shows that it should start and
open when I go online. Most of the time I have to click
on it to get it to open. Then when it opens, most of the
time, it will go off and show that I have been signed out
of that network. Occassionally it will come on and stay
on, to my surprise. Could this be caused by my Password
for Windows Messenger and MSN Messenger 6.0 if it is the
same?
