HOW DO I GET MY OUTLOOK EXPRESS ON THE TASKBAR?
I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING, AND NOTHING WORKS.

Tip #1: TURN OFF CAPS LOCK. It's read as yelling, and is annoying to
read. Not likely to get much help that way.

Tip #2: Be more clear with what you mean. The Task Bar is the strip at
the bottom where running programs reside. Most running programs display
a "button" on the task bar. Outlook Express is one of them. Whenever you
open it, you should see its button there.

If you mean putting Outlook Express in your System Tray (the smaller
area where the clock is), that's different. To do that, you'll have to
do some registry editing, and there's no guarantee it will work. If you
feel comfortable editing your registry (usually not a good idea unless
you're an advanced user), then we can find the tweak to use.

If you mean that you want an icon in the quick launch area (in the
taskbar near the Start button), you can right-click the desktop,
select new, then shortcut. Browse to insert the path to OE, which
seems to be c:\program files\outlook express\msimn.exe. Give it a
name. When you have created your shortcut, drag it into the taskbar.

I don't use OE, so there may be more specific information required to
get into your designated folder. If you already have an icon
elsewhere, you can right-click and look at its properties.
