Default C:\\WINDOWS\System32 pop up question.

-----Original Message-----
Everytime I start up Windows XP Professional,

C:\\WINDOWS\System32
pops up. Is there anyway I can get this to stop? Any

help is greatly
appreciated! Thanks in advance.

You may have a virus attached to your win32 it was part

of the SoBig Virus going around a few weeks ago. Do a
search in Windows Explorer for this file winservn. If you
get a hit on this file you will have to get Microsoft to
tell you how to get rid of it because you can't delete it.
This little bug will not allow you to delete any history
files stored in your Temp folders. Virus detection does
not work. Neither Norton or McAfee found it on mine, my
brother is a computer geek and he told me about it.
However it is very complicated to get rid of it. Get with
Microsoft telephone support and ask them about it.
