Default Transferring Outlook Express address book and emails to new PC

My sister's old PC runs XP Home SP3. Her "new" PC runs XP Media
Center 2005 SP3.
I want to transfer her Outlook Express (1) address book and (2) old
emails from the old PC to the new one.
What files do I copy over and what steps do I take?
TIA for the help.

Kirk,

DBX Files hold the messages

In TOOLS menu in OE on one of the tabs you will find the Store Root. That is
the location of all the DBX files

In FILE menu you can export address book | other address book to a csv file
(tick all the boxes; name...)

On the new machine you can copy the DBX directory on the desktop, use the
File menu & import messages (choose OE6), point to the folder containing the
DBX files & chose to import all

With the address book you can choose import from the FILE menu & import CSV
file

In TOOLS menu| accounts you can double-click the e-mail account & write down
the settings for pop3...

I neglected to mention that the "new" machine has never had Outlook
Express used for email (I use Forte Agent). Does that make a
difference?
