Default Can't sign in either

I'm getting the same error and getting steamed! I have tried everything listed by Jonathon except adding messenger to my firewall allowed sites. I don't know how to do that. I don't know if I even have a firewall or how to check for one. HELP!!!! I'm
about ready to kick this thing out the window! Thank you, Lisa
